On the Road: Supplier Connection Growth Summit

Supplier Connection is hitting the road!

As part of its commitment to help small and diverse businesses grow and create jobs, Supplier Connection is launching a series of special Growth Summit events across the United States.

The inaugural Supplier Connection Growth Summit will take place on May 10, in Stamford, Connecticut.

With a focus on the New York City metro area and state of Connecticut, the Summit is free to attend and lunch, with a special keynote speaker, will be provided.

The Growth Summit will give small and diverse suppliers the opportunity to hear directly from corporate executives about the capabilities needed to work with them.

The panel, “Winning Corporate Contracts: What You Need to Know,” will feature Terrez Thompson, vice president, global supplier diversity at the Coca-Cola Company; Lou Ferretti, project executive, product environmental compliance & supply chain social responsibility at IBM; and Jay Wesley, head of global supplier diversity and performance at Pitney Bowes.

The small and diverse suppliers in attendance also will have the opportunity to meet with buyers from a range of corporations and large organizations through a unique matchmaking session. Think of it as speed dating with a corporate client. More on the matchmaking session next week.

The NY & CT Growth Summit is being sponsored by IBM, the Business Council of Fairfield County, and Pitney Bowes Inc.

It will be held at the Marriott Hotel & Spa in Stamford, which is one block from the Metro North Stamford station. Free, on-site parking will be available.

Free, easy to attend, and chock-full of expert insight and advice. What are you waiting for? Register today!
