A Letter to Our Suppliers:
In 2010, Supplier Connection was launched as an economic development initiative aimed at helping small and diverse businesses join corporate supply chains, grow, and create jobs in the United States.
By any measure, Supplier Connection has achieved its mission. In 2016, Supplier Connection’s large organization and corporate buyers spent more than $3 billion with the small and diverse suppliers registered on the portal. In turn, these firms grew, created jobs, and enhanced the economy.
Supplier Connection has been a success due to the active participation of entrepreneurs like you. Thank you for being a part of it.
Although Supplier Connection has been offered free of charge since its inception, significant resources are required to provide the platform. After careful review, it has been determined that Supplier Connection is not sustainable because the resources required to maintain it are no longer available.
Many organizations share Supplier Connection’s goal of expanding the participation of small and diverse businesses in corporate supply chains. However, a comprehensive assessment of the marketplace concluded that no alternative could be identified that would enable Supplier Connection to continue while remaining true to its philanthropic mission
Based on these factors, we are giving you notice that the Supplier Connection program will close effective February 14, 2018, midnight ET.
As a registered supplier, you will have full access to the site through February 14, 2018. After February 14, you will be unable to access Supplier Connection and your data will be deleted from the system.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Supplier Connection Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or (877) 808-6510.
As part of this announcement, for your awareness, Supplier Connection is sharing information about several organizations you might choose to explore that may be able to assist your business. The identification of the organizations listed below is not an endorsement of the organizations or a guarantee that any of the organizations will be able to provide support to your business.
