CT Supplier Connection Hosts Manufacturing Event

Supplier Connection allows small and diverse businesses to identify and compete for contracting opportunities in a wide-range of industries and fields.

Manufacturing was the focus of a recent Supplier Connection event in Waterbury, Connecticut.

The awareness session provided nearly fifty small and diverse manufacturing suppliers from the region with an introduction to Supplier Connection.

Attendees participated in an interactive workshop, which walked them through the process of registering their firms on the Supplier Connection platform.

The session also included the presentation of several cases studies, which examined how small and diverse suppliers had used the platform to win corporate contracts.

The event was hosted by The Business Council of Fairfield County, the Smaller Manufacturers Association of CT, Inc. and the law firm of Carmody Torrance Sandak Hennessey LLP.

Presenting were: Jay Wesley (pictured), head of global supplier diversity and performance at Pitney Bowes Inc. and Gary Breitbart, head of CT Supplier Connection.
